Hermia
Elspeth Barnett
Elspeth has been attending Swish of the Curtain Drama School since 1999 through which she has taken her LAMDA gold acting medal. She has appeared in several local theatre productions as well as helping backstage at The Regent Centre during their production of Oliver. Last summer Elspeth achieved three-A’s at A-Level from Parkstone Grammar School before featuring in two amateur short films over the summer. During the end of 2009 Elspeth was out in war-torn Burundi, training Y.F.C. drama teams who perform around the Country educating on abstinence and water safety. 
Elspeth is currently on a theology foundation year but will be heading back to Africa this summer, followed by auditioning for drama schools this September.

Helena
Hannah Henson
Hannah is currently in her second year of acting training at the Arts University College at Bournemouth. She hopes to become a professional actress and is excited to be taking
part in this production.
She jumped at the opportunity to play a Shakespearean role, and has greatly enjoyed bringing her own interpretation of Helena to the stage. This is the first production Hannah has taken part in, outside of her degree course, and she hopes it will be a step towards a career in the theatre. Aside from Acting, Hannah is a keen musician who sings and plays the guitar.

Lysander
Alex Deutsch
Alex has been performing most of his life, with one of his earliest performances being in Oliver! at the Bournemouth Pavilion. After studying for a Performing Arts diploma, Alex hopes to continue his training at a top drama school. Recently, Alex has performed in many diverse roles; from Creon in Oedipus, Britney in We Will Rock You and Marcellus in Hamlet for the Brownsea Island Open Theatre. He is the front man for local cover band ‘The Lucky Pluckers’ and is constantly gigging around Bournemouth with this band. Alex is delighted to be part of A Midsummer’s Nights Dream.


Demetrius
David Pedrick
David John Pedrick is a 2nd year Sound student on the BA (Hons) Film Production degree at the Arts University College at Bournemouth.
Prior to coming to Bournemouth in 2008 he was a keen semi-professional actor as a member of the National Youth Theatre, The Little Theatre Guild and as a graduate of the London Academy of Dramatic Arts diploma course where he attained Gold Diploma with distinction. David's most recent theatre credits include appearing in a Bournemouth University production of West Side Story.
Despite a great enjoying for acting, David has chosen to stay on the other side of the camera for his studies, and follows his other passion, film.
He reprises the role of Demetrius after he first performed it at Bingley Little Theatre in 2007.
